Strategy and Corporate Finance Analyst

About the role

The Strategy and Corporate Finance Analyst joins Africa Specialty Risks' Strategy team to help shape and execute the group’s growth agenda. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Investor Relations, the role is fast‑paced and ideal for proactive candidates eager to work on multiple strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support definition and implementation of group strategic objectives, initiatives, and plans.
• Assist the Head of Strategy & Investor Relations in embedding strategic planning across the organisation.
• Execute core strategic initiatives such as product and market expansion, including economic and sectoral research.
• Gather and analyse data to inform business decisions and synthesize complex information into clear narratives.
• Prepare detailed business plans with financial projections.
• Lead project‑management activities, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for executive committees.
• Support corporate valuation, transaction advisory, and investor‑relations activities, including financial modelling and presentation preparation.
