Accountant – Fund Services

About the role

Ocorian is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Fund Services team. You will support Directors, Managers and Administrators while delivering accurate accounting records and complex financial statements for a portfolio of sophisticated clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an allocated portfolio of fund services clients and ensure timely delivery of bookkeeping entries.
• Prepare and post final entries required for financial statements and management accounts for complex entities.
• Liaise with clients to meet service expectations and resolve queries.
• Review and coach junior team members on their deliverables, including reconciliations and VAT returns.
• Prepare complex reconciliations (investments, cash, etc.) and review senior team members' work.
• Produce annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and provide accounting assistance to internal staff.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting, preferably within fund services or asset management.
• Experience preparing financial statements, management accounts and VAT returns.
• Ability to review and guide junior staff and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Excellent client communication and service orientation.
