Finance Accountant – Record to Report (RTR)

About the role

DHL is seeking a Finance Accountant to join its Record to Report (RTR) team. You will be responsible for accurate general ledger maintenance, month‑end closing, and supporting audit and compliance activities within a dynamic, global logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries and month‑end reports.
• Process daily bank statements, perform transitory account clearing, and execute monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage fixed‑asset transactions, including capitalization, disposal, transfer, and retirement, and generate related reports.
• Issue manual recharges, conduct inter‑company reconciliations, and support analytical reviews of balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Maintain compliance with internal control policies (CRISP), IFRS, and DHL’s financial guidelines.
• Assist internal and external audit processes and keep documentation such as SOPs and process flows up to date.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using First Choice and LEAN methodologies.

Required profile

• ACCA Level 2 or a degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a large organization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or SUN applications.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and overall MS Office suite.

Required skills

• Oracle (or SAP/SUN) ERP navigation and data extraction.
• Oracle Discoverer (or similar reporting tools) – considered an asset.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
