Investment Analyst

About the role

deVere Investment Ltd, described as the largest private investment banking company in Mauritius, is looking for an experienced Investment Analyst to help deliver tailored investment solutions that match clients' goals. The role sits in a dynamic financial advisory environment where you will deepen your expertise and grow professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client investment portfolios and give tailored recommendations on asset allocation and diversification
• Research and analyse market trends, industry sectors and individual investment opportunities
• Work with team members to design investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance
• Monitor global economic and financial market developments and share timely insights
• Maintain relationships with external research providers, brokers and industry professionals
• Keep accurate client records and documentation in line with regulations
• Engage with clients to answer questions and provide investment information
• Work with compliance, operations and other teams to meet regulatory requirements
• Support special projects and initiatives as directed by management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment or financial advisory
• Solid knowledge of financial advisory principles and investment strategies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights
• Detail-oriented, with good organisation and time management
