About the role
As a Kitchen Commis you will support experienced chefs in preparing and cooking high‑quality dishes while upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in a prestigious boutique hotel kitchen.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to all food safety, hygiene regulations, and allergen protocols.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting the kitchen team during service.
- Monitor food storage, manage inventory, and ensure proper rotation and storage of ingredients.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain workflow and contribute to overall kitchen efficiency.
Required profile
- Minimum NC 3 in Food Production or an equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of experience in a similar kitchen commis position.
- Detail‑oriented and a strong team player.
Required skills
- Operating kitchen equipment.
- Food safety and hygiene compliance.
