Senior Accountant – Fund Accounting (Real Estate)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant specialized in fund accounting for real‑estate clients. You will support Directors, Managers and Administrators by accurately processing accounting records and preparing complex financial statements and management accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an allocated portfolio of real‑estate fund clients and post final bookkeeping entries.
• Prepare and review complex reconciliations, including investments, cash and bank accounts.
• Liaise with clients to ensure timely delivery of outputs and meet service expectations.
• Review and file VAT returns for both simple and complex clients.
• Prepare annual financial statements and management accounts in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.
• Coach and review the work of junior team members, providing guidance on policies and processes.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects and provide accounting support to internal staff as required.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accountant with proven experience in fund accounting and real‑estate entities.
• Strong understanding of complex reconciliations, VAT compliance and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and review their deliverables.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet prescribed deadlines.
