Actuarial Analyst – Pension Benefits

About the role

Join the Actuarial Consulting department as an Actuarial Analyst, working under the Actuarial Manager. You will contribute to pension benefit calculations and data maintenance while developing your actuarial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic pension benefit calculations.
• Help collate and maintain economic and index‑related data.
• Ensure a clear audit trail for all work.
• Validate and reconcile pension scheme membership data.
• Update valuation runs for minor changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics or related field.
• Interest in achieving Fellowship of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
• Basic knowledge of the private pension sector and its regulatory environment.
• Strong technical, organisational and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF).
